Kat Jenkins' life and music...

...was the theme for much of the first part of Hot Pebbles! on Phonic FM today. Kat Jenkins has led a full and exciting life and has an extremely positive attitude. Thank you very much, Kat, for joining us to tell us about the ups and downs, highs and lows and loves and adventures you have experienced and for sharing some lovely music with us.

We heard from Sarah Pennington about The Starlings Octet, a mixed a cappella group, breathing life into a range of choral works.

The octet are performing Madrigali, madrigals from the sixteenth century to the present day, at Brixington Community Church, Exmouth on Saturday 30th November at 19:30.

Matti Fantasi told us about his glam punk band Dead Frequency. Formed in Exeter, the band now perform in the Daventry / Rugby area but hope to be down our way for gigs next year. They have a new EP out called Desire For Fire and you can hear the three tracks here.
