...was the theme for much of the first part of Hot Pebbles! on Phonic FM today. Kat Jenkins has led a full and exciting life and has an extremely positive attitude. We heard from Sarah Pennington about The Starlings Octet, a mixed a cappella group, breathing life into a range of choral works.

The octet are performing Madrigali, madrigals from the sixteenth century to the present day, at Brixington Community Church, Exmouth on Saturday 30th November at 19:30.

Matti Fantasi told us about his glam punk band Dead Frequency. Formed in Exeter, the band now perform in the Daventry / Rugby area but hope to be down our way for gigs next year. They have a new EP out called Desire For Fire and you can hear the three tracks here.
