We broadcast The Chamber, written and directed by John Fryer. A one hour play for radio, it is set in the House of Commons. The debate there centres on the government's proposal to sell off all the countryside.

The Introduction and credits were read by Sheila Jackson
The Minister for the Environment...Robin Ingram
The Speaker...Phillip Sheahan
The Opposition Spokeswoman...Katie Williams
Member for Basildon North...John Fryer

All other parts were played by members of the cast.

Jane Duffus spoke to us about the What The Frock! Comedy Night taking place at the Voodoo Lounge at Exeter Phoenix on Saturday 26 October. Full details are here.

Actor Andy Kelly joined me in the studio. He is a member of the company Write By Numbers and is acting in a solo play Beneath The Sky, "a walking
story about our relationship with England’s past, the landscape around us and the things our imaginations do to cope with loss". It is currently on at Exeter's Bike Shed Theatre. Full info here.

At the same venue the company is also presenting "a play in progress", Blueprint.
