Swing!

Swing music from the forties featured today with music from The Three Belles as well as Glenn Miller.
 Listen again here
I chatted with Betty from The Three Belles about their forties-style music. The Three Belles will be at America Hall in Pinhoe, Exeter on Friday 9 August when you can be "whisked back in time for a night of nostalgia and fantastic entertainment".

The close-harmony trio will be performing there with the band The Bevin Boys. "Keep calm in that black out, don't forget your gas mask and come and join us for a jolly good knees-up" they say.

We played two tracks by the trio: Boogie Woogie Bugel Boy and In The Mood.

More about The Three Belles and their music on their website where you can order their new album In Full Swing.
