Women

Theatre Rush guested on Hot Pebbles! on Phonic FM today as we celebrated International Women's Day (prematurely, I know, as it is really this Friday).
All female Exeter-based company, Theatre Rush, begin a residency at the Exeter Bike Shed Theatre from 19 March 2013, starting with their play Flushed which explores the bittersweet side of life. Flushed looks at life in a way that is honest, irreverent, often absurd and very funny.
During their three week residency at The Exeter Bike Shed, they will be joined by Spanish physical theatre duo Little Soldier, Mexican clown Gabriela Muñoz, Bristol based Sally Jenkinson and Nuala Honan and Infectious Theatre, who all agree that life is funny even when it hurts. As a company of four women,
Theatre Rush are excited to be bringing such high calibre, professional female theatre companies to Exeter.
Find out more on Theatre Rush's website and the Exeter Bike Shed Theatre website.
Lee Rawlings spoke about a fabulous event coming up for Phonic FM. It's the Sci-fi convention Phonicon at the Exeter Phoenix all day on Sunday 7 April. The Phoenix building will be invaded by all manner of fun for all the family in the form of special guests, costumed entertainers, comic artists, book signings, talks, an all-day cinema , merchandise traders, competitions and much more. All topped off with an evening’s entertainment with live music all included in the ticket price, and of course refreshments and food served all day from the Phoenix bar. Full info here.
